Happy Nuts at Free Will
One of the craziest things I did was to go on a first date with somebody I was deeply attracted to, (Yes!) and then behave like a nut!
Ha Ha! Want to know how the date went?
Two nuts cracked, in fact! For me, it was just high...HIGH... He went crazy too! :) The surprise is, he still remembers, even till this day!
This was one of the most relaxed (or too relaxed indeed) and memorable dates I had. Correction, I should say it's the only one. I was fairly composed I would say for my other first dates; a bit of anxiety here and there, some long conversations... all under control. This one is different. I have no chance to think at all(!). Imagine the first time out together, no food, no talk, no pausing. We just laughed a lot, maybe the only night which I bent my back so many times due to extreme laughter. Two jokers we were, we carried our SLR cameras, and practically combed an entire district during the night. We took a lot of photographs, experimented with the SLRs (different lightings, different speed). The subjects were mainly buildings, or articles of everyday-living. We sneaked through dark lanes and even stole a broken ratten/wooden chair! Precious chair... It's like a treasure to both of us.
We dragged the chair to all the places with us, laid it at all sorts of funny angles on the streets, at carpark basement, in front of people's doors, brought it up onto the train with us. He brought it to his home and I just couldn't believe it. I didn't even remember if anyone was laughing at us. I only noticed curious stares. :)
Funny that we enjoyed our fun so much that most of our photos didn't turn out! None of mine did... I have never seen his. He admitted few of his turned out, and he's such a pro compared to the lazy me.

Yes, Pradeep. You are a quick one! *wink*
@Mary:
But you married your current man! He has filled your life with other more beautiful memories ;) So sweet!
@Jackal:
You are not alone. I feel that way too. Most of the time I was keeping my fingers crossed, praying that nothing clumsy from me is going to burp out.
@Keshi:
Everything seems to be so perfect when we don't ask for much and just focus on each other :)))) Love will fill in all the gaps.
I guess the Word "Date" is a bit
Over ~ Rated.
I don't remember much about Dating.
That says a Lot.
Then again.
It's Me.
Hehe.
Like, you don't know what Day or Date it is.
Romantically, I would imagine it something to Be like Cruising for something you both Like.
**Love will fill in all the gaps
it sure does, doesnt it :)
if there's real love, no need to plan anything...everything will fall in place naturally...
Keshi.
@Emerald:
A Date carries with it the hope that the couple will go into a love relationship. I suppose in every loving heart, a date is always over-rated :)
@HH1976:
Welcome on blog :)
@Wolverined.:
Nice way to describe it; cruising. Sounds so welcoming...
@Keshi:
In life if a lot of things are left unplanned and still goes smoothly, isn't it great?
Lol !!
I've never been out on a date.
But I can recollect this pro photographer at a friend's wedding, who took snaps without the roll !
My recollection of first date is 14 January 1982..before that memory is blank..
Oh my first date happened last year. With some girl I met on chat. The phone love. Met in real. Some 500 kilometres away. Some 2 kilometres up. Looked. Spoke. Joked. Laughed. Remembered. Loved. Kissed. Broke. Matured. :D
Loved again. Real. No more fantasy relationships. More serious. A longer relationship. More than a kiss. More than love. Life. Broke. More hurt. Matured all over again. :p
I guess I have to go through it again. lol
It sure is great...but so many ppl still plan n then get disappointed...
Keshi.
@ASN:
LOL! Bet the bride and groom won't be amused to find that out. Ha Ha.
@White Magpie:
WOW! You remembered the actual date! Very rare for a guy... It must have been a very impressionable one...
@The Individualist:
It's like something we challenged ourselves, one level after the next. We get better and the levels go higher... all the way till we get that princess up in the tower ;P The best is yet to be! Go for it!
@Mr Pink:
Hi! Welcome!
@Keshi:
We all try to cushion our fall... Sometimes letting go is better :)
Hi...
Ummmmm.....money goes to producer…..yup but for that, producer has to invest money...nyah!!
But the artist invest only his creativity, if it fails still they get chances to gain his stuff by any means (agar hit ho gaya to kya kahena )but what for the producer!!
Most importantly, how many producers’ name you can tell?!
And tell me nyah, in bolywood how many producers’ pictures come in the news paper & have a better bunglow than Big B or S. Khan …
Artist jug jug jiyo.....but producer also otherwise who’ll invest money hai nyah...so producer bhi jug jug jiyo...
Heii..hope to see u again...
Roy
Hey, lovely slice of romance! Nicely written too. True too!
my first (and only) date was with my sweetie, and we went for a walk..
@Roy:
Thanks for the reply
@Inkblot:
Hi, thanks! ;)
@Still Figuring Out:
Great that your first strike gets Mr Right! :)
I think I remembered a Date.
It was Unexpected.
It made me Feel Real.
If I wasn't so Mixed - Up I was
probably Married now. Or something
Similar.
At first I though it was All show.
~ the Audience is Listening and
All that.
But it wasn't like that at All.
I can Now see that.
I feel Sad for Him and Me.
But that's Life. Or Something
Similar.
@Emerald.:
Sometimes I also wish I can turn back the clock. But a lot of things can make or break a possible love relationship: Time, Opportunity, Chance. Even if I go back to someone whom it was possible for us years ago, the magic is probably gone now... He may have met someone else too.
Sometimes I get impulsive and become the one doing all the initiatives instead. I thought I rather make an attempt at it than to regret it in years to come. But that may not always get positive results with guys... Main thing is at all stages of our life, we have tried our best to make the best decision then. We have tried...
@Zazu~ed.:
Yes, I am the type who's always relieved to have found out than to be hidden in the dark. Ha ha, sounds like I am the head-bashing type...
Your third comment is targetted at Emerald? Want to elaborate a little?
@Mr Pink:
Sexual politics... ymmmm it will be tantamount to great sex if the politics part does not become too serious. Ha ha.
@V~AlleyCat!:
Hi there!
"- all the way till we get that princess up in the tower ;P "
And you forgot to type in the last words of that sentence.
"- all the way till we get that princess up in the tower ;P and lose her too."
I think what Zazu's trying to say
is, that the nices Dates Em had
weren't proper Dates at all.
That's what made them so Special.
That's the type of Girl she is.
And that's the type of Guy she
falls for.
At least she Figured that one out
by Now.

She can see it in someone's Eyes,
if it's Worthwhile.
And she's Learning not to Waste
time on the Non-Compatible people
in her Life.
From all kinds on Angles.
That's the Life she Chose For.
You can tell how Proud I am to have
Found her.
@The Individualist:
Life is a constant struggle. Never lose heart. Even if there's no tower girl, our life is worth so much more. :) Hugs! I am probably going to face singlehood myself too! Let's cheer each other on! :)
@HappyHamster1976 & Zazu~ed.:
Love is so fragile and sensitive. I too wish I have the firmness to fall for the right type of people. Sometimes I feel so weak in terms of that. I don't want to give up love or having a chance to love. I wish to have a painless love yet that is simply naivety on my side. Sigh...
Nein!! Nein!! That is the first date as in day I remember of moi life :))
@White Magpie:
You mean that's your birthday?? Now I know... hee hee
Egad!! This is getting confusing..I rest moi case....Incidentally moi bday was last weekend...
Ha ha ha... Happy Belated Birthday, White Magpie!!!! :)))
