A Patch, A Mark, A Stain

I will be a student tomorrow ;)

...In an oil painting class, to be exact. Just went shopping for some basic materials today. I am a bit ambitious; I bought a medium-size canvas to start on. That will force myself to fill up the entire canvas and not give up halfway.

It's like going back to school again. Time is back on your side and painting is like something you can doodle on and on for hours, for days, for months. There is no finishing date. It all depends on you :)

I took art while I was in school. It has been 15 solid years since I touched my brushes. My dad is the one who started me on art classes. He says it will build up my patience, and art is a form of expression. I am glad he started me on it. Very glad :)))

Hi Keshi,
One day we should have a painting-sharing session/blog. You know, I love the drawings done by our fellow blogger, Curious. Her blog is at http://o3.indiatimes.com/curious

Wow! Hmm you just triggered that something in me that always yearned to learn painting... Damnation! I hate to say I don't have the time. Hmm I guess I'll just give it a while and get started on it. But hey, all the best! >:D< Do post what you come up with...

There was a time when I used to paint in heaps too. It taught me not to love art with feelings.

These days the only brush ah hold is the toothbrush and that too not too well :p

@Jackal:
Hey it will be interesting to paint on the pc. Must show, ok?

Someone was telling me about a software that is very interesting! It can change your joss-stick tool to a crayon, a brush, a pencil, a charcoal, etc. I am so impressed :)

@ASN:
Hey, where have you been all these while? Good to have you back :)

Sometimes the process of playing our hands with pencils, crayons, paints can be therapeutic enough without worrying about the end-product. Right? :)

@Pradeep:
Thanks!

@White_Magpie:
Seems you have an untold story... Hope you reconcil with your brushes one day... Hugs
